The company is currently looking for confident, enthusiastic and highly-motivated individuals to start Engineering Modern Apprenticeships within the company’s Maintenance Departments. Commencing in September 2009, you will receive comprehensive training, ultimately gaining qualifications including a BTEC ONC and NVQ to level 3.
A Modern Apprenticeship at the company offers a challenging and exciting career opportunity and comes with a comprehensive remuneration package. You will be joining one of the leading companies in the UK’s power generation industry and will also undertake practical and theoretical training at an external location, where accommodation and subsistence will be provided. |

Apprentices complete their ONC at Loughborough college and skills training at a training site in Loughborough. This is a 4 year apprenticeship with the first 2 years spent between the company and a training centre based at Ratcliffe Power Station, the last 2 years will be at the company finishing your NVQ level 3 in Engineering Technology Maintenance.
To be considered for an Apprenticeship you must have a good standard of education and be expected to achieve a minimum criteria of four GCSEs at grade C or above including Maths, English and Science
